Roles we are looking to fill

Security Consultants / Penetration Testers

We are looking for individuals passionate about offensive security, with a strong technical background gained through professional experience and/or through keeping up to date with the latest developments and taking on challenges in their spare time (CTFs, bug bounties, labs, preparing for certifications, etc.).

Pre-sales engineers

We are looking for technical candidates wishing to specialise in consulting and client relations, or who already have a mix of technical and commercial experience. A strong interest in cybersecurity is, of course, essential, bearing in mind that you will learn a great deal about penetration testing by joining our team.

Marketing, sales and support roles

We are looking for talented individuals capable of making a difference in their field and wishing to get involved in the exciting sector of cybersecurity.

What is the recruitment process?

For pentester roles:

The first step is to complete a technical challenge that we will send you by email.

If you pass the challenge, we can begin the interview process:

  • 1st Interview: to learn about your background and aspirations, and to introduce the company (with at least one member of Vaadata’s management team)
  • 2nd Interview: a technical interview with several members of our penetration testing team (including your future manager)
  • 3rd Interview: an informal meeting with the entire Vaadata team

For recruitment of other roles

The first step is an analysis of your CV and any other information you have provided regarding your background and aspirations.

The interviews also take place in three stages:

  • 1st Interview: focused on learning about your background and aspirations, and an introduction to the company (with at least one member of Vaadata’s management team)
  • 2nd Interview: a role-specific discussion with members of your future team (including your future manager)
  • 3rd Interview: an informal discussion with the entire Vaadata team

These interviews take up a significant amount of our time, which is no small matter for a team of our size. This is why we can only conduct interviews with a small number of carefully selected candidates.

The first stage is therefore very important: whether it’s your CV or the information you send with your application, please be as precise and factual as possible.

Regarding the technical challenge, the aim is not to be the fastest but to get to the bottom of things and demonstrate your potential in a pentester role.
